whats wrong

I recorded a ps2 game with cdrwin 3.8d then I used ps2 pachter and then I used fireburner to burn the cd. when it finished, I looked on the cd that I used which was a Nashua 700mb, and nothing showed up on the disk. Am I doing something wrong. why is there nothing showing up on the disk. And they said all I need to play the burned game on my ps2 is game shark 2. is this true.
