HELP! Can't read PS2 DVDs!

Hello!
I need help!

I've got a Sony ddu-1621 DVD drive. I just tried to read my Playstation 2 games (GranTurismo3 and TimeCrisisII), but CloneCD says, that my drive wouldn't be compatible. CDRWin gives an error when reading the image: "Unable to analyze Disk Layout. Illegal track type encountered."

I upgraded my firmware, but that didn't help, too.

Do I have to buy a new DVD drive?
What drives can read PS2 Games without any problems???
