Burning AVI/DIV-X From HD + general advice ......

....... Using Packard Bell System from Comet & its standard Goldstar CD-RW DEC-8080B Drive.

I have had no trouble burning onto memorex discs MP3/WAV using Nero latest version at 8x.
Apps have also burned ok at 4x & MPEG at 2x to be on the safe side (haven't tried faster to not waste discs).

I have 7 movies to clear from the HD in both AVI & DIV-X format - what speed/settings should i use in nero based on the info i provide?

I am then trying to use partition manager 7 to install a second OS on top of win2k.

1. Am i able to use the discs provided by PB (3 start-up discs) to put win 98 SE from there onto one of the partitions i have - or will i have to use my copy of windows ME? Based on stability i would rather 98 SE so does someone have it for me to download?

2. Could someone provide advice on creating the new partition as my knowledge is limited & i am wary of losing my pc's config & existing files?
At the moment i have 4 drives utilising approximately 14 GIG:

C (Program files/FAT32/3 GIG), D (Music/NTFS/4 GIG), E (Games & Movies/NTFS/6 GIG) & F (Utilities/NTFS/1 GIG)

I am assuming once my HD is free'd up that i need to amend one of the NTFS drives - Or to maintain configuration perhaps amend some of my existing partitions? Which OS uses C - I would rather keep it as 2k if i can (ie - unamended)

Thanks in advance for ANY advice - i'm not asking for all the answers above - just everyones little titbits of knowledge based on their own experience

thanks
