Clone CD Question

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone could answer my following question:

I have CloneCD version 2.8.3.1 and have never had any problems backing up any game, even MOFAA.
All i need to do is replace the no cd patch and everything works perfect, however i have been reading that everyone has the latest version of Clonecd and i just wanted to know what the differences are between my version and the latest version of Clonecd?

I have a Plextor 12/4/32 Cd writer, a Phillips 12/8/32 CD Writer and after having read lots of posts saying that one of the ONLY Cd Writers that make 1:1 copies is a Liteon, so i went out and bought the LTR-24102B from PC World from £99. I shall try it and see how it is.

What do people think of the program Betablocker? does it do what people say it does? has anyone tried this program?
