Please Help w/EA Patch

I am trying to make a backup of madden 2002. The problem I keep having is when I use ppf o matic to apply the patch I get this popup saying " filesize of the binfile does not match w/ the filesize that ppf patch was made with. I was told in a previuos post that this was due to me not having the correct game version or region. This is fine Ive tried approx 4 different patches and still the same result. Ca n someone help me in the right direction, How can I either verfiy the region and version pryor to solecting the correct patch? Or here is what my original game says on it

If somebody can help by either giving me the name of the correct patch and where to locate, telling me how to figure out what the correct info is that I need, or simply let me know that you have it and I will give you my email addy. Something
