Anyone Knows How to backup or have information for zoo tycoon?

Hi....

I got Zoo Tycoon full verison (English), any i try to make a backup copy from my original cd by drag it to my hard disc then do a iso copy from nero burner. However, the thats cd backed up cd seems to be playable, but it doesnt seems to be used for installation. Keep getting a media error msg. Anybody can help???
