Could this work,booting backups on the ps2 without modchip?

I read a post At vcdhelp.com in the dvd player hack section and i went to a post about the ps2 some guy wrote that if you press O= 18 times,R1= 5 times, and L1= 5 times at the browser configuration screen you can boot a backup game?

I think it's crap!!!
