Max Payne and other SD2 progs.

I have an ACER 1208a which CCD says will copy SD2 and I have also read that it may have some sub channel stuff as well it this is so should I read with rom which can handle the subs and allow the burner to write the subs as it can write but not read. So 2 questions is that the case with Max Payne and should I use these procedures?
