Steve,
i have a 30003R model PS2 and successfully installed a NEO2.2 chip using the ACTION REPLAY 2v2 boot up cd. go to WWW.KANECTION.CO.UK for all diagrams if you follow the strip down , installation and rebuild procedure very carefully and without kids about you should be able to do this successfully. this is the only time ive done it and i did it first go ( i Know, bully for me )....just take your time and hey presto it works !
