PS2 30001R, Neo 2.5, GS v2.x

I currently have the following setup and would like help in being able to boot dvdr's. I have a 30001R console with a NEO 2.5 cdr/dvdr modchip installed, and and using a gameshark version 2.x. (gameshark 1.9 won't boot in this machine for some reason) I have used normal boot methods but the tray never comes out the second time so that I can swap the original dvd game with the copy. Can someone please help. I have search this forum and found no answers to my query.
