fritz6 - physical error protection- bypass with cdrwin??

Yes I remember....those protections can be very damaging to cd-drives. its a shame...I remember an older CD drive that I have would often spin up to *amazing* speeds (it would sound so loud and spin so fast, you would think it would explode), when trying to access some CD's.

Thankfully the newer drives don't seem to do that anymore.

I'm surprised Fritz6 doesn't use "dongle" protection, as its made from Chessbase too....
