KOHAN BACKUP ? HERE'S HOW !

STEPS:

1. Make Sure that you have CLONE CD and a CD- READER that is compatible with it, you will find the requirements in the Clone CD help file. (####://www.elaborate-bytes.com/)

2. PLAYBACKUP 2.1 (####://go.to/gamefix)

Using clone cd, create an IMAGE file on your HD, with the following setting "FAST ERROR SKIP = ON". All else is off (unticked).

When finished, use PLAYBACKUP to 'patch' the clone cd image.

Once the clonecd image is patched by PLAYBACKUP, you can burn it to a CD-R using ANY WRITER. The patch 'removes' the safedisc 2 protection.


INSTALL and PLAY GAME AS NORMAL. No hassle.

IF YOU UPDATE THE GAME however, NONE OF THIS WORKS, possibly the update 'does something' to the game and prevents it from working if it senses PLAYBACKUP present.


I have done this and it has worked perfectly. ANY CD-WRITER will be able to burn the image, since the image itself is NOT PROTECTED.

Bear in mind however that the game UPDATE somehow causes all this to NOT WORK ANYMORE....., SO DON'T do the update, else all of this will be useless !
