Sorry, dude !! I am not quite sure which patch you mean.
There is an official patch 1.05b for diablo 2, which can be found at the developers-site. Download and execute it and from then on your version of Diablo2 is 1.05 Then you have to download the patch/gamefix v1.05b for your version. If you didn't apply the OFFICIAL patch 1.05b, then you have d/led the wrong gamefix. You should try the gamefix for v 1.0 (us). (at gcw!) If you are not sure how to handle the patch, just read the text which is written under the d/l-link.
