Well, I hope this helps you, read and learn form and old jedi (I didn't say master in copying, just for the record. I am not some kind of egoist).
Just copy RA2.exe from the crack dir on you backup over the original you created after installing the game. That should do it, if not, than you copied it wrong, sorry.
