Newbie and need help

Okay, as you can tell by my name, I'm new here. I downloaded the, uh, thing, the .exe for Diablo II (1.03). I opened it with winzip, and tried to replace my Diablo II .exe file with this one, but for some reason, the Diablo II info isn't in a folder, it just contains 7 files. What do I do? How do I replace it? Thank you in advance for helping.
