Sierra Games - Pharaoh, and Master of Olympus - Zeus

I recently used CloneCD (previous version to latest) to backup Pharaoh, worked a charm - although I had some problems initially after instalation.

I'm not sure how I fixed it in the end, as it is working now, but it got a little funny before (wished I'd documented it!)...

Anyway, I've got the latest version of CloneCD now, and have just tried making a backup of the latest of the Sierra Games - Master of Olympus - Zeus.

From what I can see the game looks almost identical (but with some different images ) - nice one Sierra!

Anyway - I've backed it up again, with no problems, and installed it from the backup.

Soon as you try to run it, it spins the CD, spins the HD, and then there's like a little flicker on the HD light for ages, intermitantly, I've checked under the task manager and nothing is there.

Would this imply that maybe it does have some kinda protection that has not been duplicated? Its like it checks the CD, then does something, then decides not to run the game.

I'm sure this is what the Pharaoh game was doing previously, but thats running fine now - I think I did a Medium installation in the end, but as I said, I didnt document it, and have no real idea what I did to fix it..

Anyone got any useful info?

Oh, and Cybercop - The top 2 under write were greyed out, yet my writer does seem to be supported, as its worked fine for other titles? Any ideas mate?
