I don't know this game but, in general, I would recommend 1) installing the game from the original, 2) applying the latest update, 3) applying a no-CD patch and then 4) archiving the installed game (7-Zip recommended). Use RegFromApp to collect the registry entries created/modified by the installer/updater and include the .reg file in the archive. Then you just uncompress the archive, run the .reg file and play the game - latest version, no CD/DVD required.
