My copys play in Black & White

Can anyone help.
I have just got some copyed games but they only play in BLACK & WHITE.
I have connected my PS2 to My TV with the cables & scart plug that comes with the PS2, but still in B&W
I played the original copyed games (the ones that made mine) and they were in colour.

Any help would be much appreciated
