Ok m8y,
Have you got your Psx console chipped in anyway or are you using a boot CD because these are the requirements need to play Back-ups on a console. That is why your playstation is going to the CD player/ memory card screen because it can't read the disc. The copying process most probably you have done OK, you just need to get it chipped or use a Boot CD. You can get these here. www.kanection.co.uk
