NHL 2001 PAL to JAP NTSC

I have a UK PAL original version of NHL 2001 and want to have the backup play on my modchip Jap PS2 SCPH 15000. The available patches don't seem to cover this case as evidenced by the coasters so far produced?

Can anyone help me here please?
