nothing wrong as far as I can see.... you recently reinstalled OS, & never reinstalled your codec pack... Every conversion Ive tried plays video file just fine, BUT I have codec pack installed. Had same issue when I installed W8X64, no codecs installed, videos wouldnt play, until i installed the pack.
