CDRwin burning problems

I have tried to burn two ps2 games now and both have not worked. When my friend does it they seem to work fine. The only difference is that when he burns the files back onto a cd, he unselects RAW mode whereas on my computer, RAW mode is permenately selected. Is this the problem and if so is there any way that I can unselect RAW mode. Any help would be appreciated.
