Ps2 and the Neo 2 chip

I know this may be in the wrong forum, SORRY.

I have a ps2 and neo2 chip.
I am asking is it possible to play ORIGINAL USA DVD GAMES like bouncer ect on my uk chipped ps2 or won't it play because of only being region 1 .............

Please help me ..............
