Please advise on my annoying situation!

Hello,

I have backed up loads of games without copy protection but all the games that need a patch wont work for me (crash bash, Resident Evil3, Crash team racing). They always boot, the paradox intro comes up and then they crash right at the begginning of the game!!!!!!!;-(

I have done everything right, used cdrwin (with correct setting) applied the correct patch, use verbatim Cds, read and write at 1X etc etc and it still wont work.

Its getting really annoying (making lots of coasters) now and the only thing that i think could possibly be wrong is my burner even though it backs up games that dont need any copy protection.

I have a Freecom CDRW 8 x 4 x 32 x.

If any one could help i would be very greatful!
