To use cdclone for protected games you NEED the dont repair subchannel data and DOA-RAW writing ability. If you don't have these don't bother.
For the patch have you tried www.megagames.com/psx go to the psx patches link, click on F and i'm sure there are ntsc patches there, its just a matter of reading what there for. Cheers.
