Help With Triple Play Baseball 2002 for PAL

Please help me, has anyone with a PAL PS2 managed to burn the NTSC version of TPB2002 (ie the stc-tp image) and actually played it. I have tried using 'Patch it' which has worked on all the other NTSC games I've tried, but this one will just not boot up at all.
