The thread starter post is quite frustrating and complicated for some people here.

Let me ease some pain here a bit;

After step 2, skip step 3 for now and compress the 2 folder first "Tracks" & "Vehicles" using FreeArc. Now repeat step 3.

Skip step 6 & 7 get the already modified file from #43 http://fileforums.com/attachment.php...4&d=1253280616 and overwrite the file in Need for Speed(TM) SHIFT folder.

Done.

Step 3 must be after step 4
