Trine Retail 1.03 problem

Hey guys, i have a problem with the fixed .exe for "Trine Retail 1.03". The game (+ patches up to 1.03) are installed.

At the first start with the fixed .exe you can play the game and customize controls, all without problems (only exception is that multiple keyboards are not working, but thats equal for me).

When i have a savegame in the "profiles"-folder, i am not able to start the game. The loading screen (with the flower) pops up, loads a litte bit, and crashes then to the desktop.

I tested it on 2 different pcs:

Windows XP Professional: crashes without any error.

Windows Vista Home Premium: crashes and gives me the error Message "Trine funktioniert nicht mehr" (in english something like "Trine works no more").

If I delete the savegame, I can start the game and play, but only from the start -.-

I hope anybody out there is able to help me, and please excuse my terrible english because i am from germany ^^

thanking you in anticipation,
lordsidius
