Actually your Geforce 7000 is a bit outdated now, but yes its ok for the sims 2. (it wont be for Sims 3 which is due out soon)
Why the crack says you dont have a compatible graphic card though is a mystery. You could always try and get a mini-image of your latest sims 2 expansion disc. If you read the FAQ you will find out how to do this, either by downloading one from GCW or making one yourself from your original.
