If the game found an internet connection it will request your login and password (exactly like when OF came out). However, many ppl surpasses that "protection" turning off the modem or changing the hosts file.
There's no workaround. Relic made it that way and if you go to the relic forums (use the search first) they explain everything there. So, If you have a real CD-Key then you don't need to insert the DVD/mount the image. Just login & play!
