If the copy is a good copy then this should be no problem, although there are some miserable sods out there who after ripping off a game scramble the disc somehow making it difficult to copy.
Even if you copy a copy make an image to your hard drive first then burn from this.
Copying your own games is not that hard and there are plenty of people out here who will help you.
