Hey,
Yes, FileForums FNG here (also not much of a techie). I found you guys when I was googling a no-cd crack for an old game of mine. I still have it installed on my second hard drive, but the actual CD is no longer usable (several intercontinental moves since I've played it last). It's v1.02 and I've had a tough time finding a crack for it. I attempted mounting an ISO, but I kept getting a "CD not there, insert coin to try again" error. I finally found (thanks for FileForums) DBC's crack, but this was in a four-year-old topic. Now, when I play, all the text (well, not all, but some of the text that isn't part of an image... like dropdown menus or popup warnings in the HUD or the copyright statement in the splashscreen) are all what appear to be multicolored horizontal UPC codes (Pics: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8)if I'm using the "primary display driver" (I'm assuming it's talking about the drivers--up to date, I checked--for my nVidia 8500). It's fine if I use the software graphics rendering option, but that only goes up to 640x480 and I'm using a 1680x1050--ewwwwww. Specs: Vista 32-bit SP1 nVidia 8500, up to date drivers Intel Q6600 4GB DDR2 Any help concerning how to fix this would be great, or maybe another crack? Thanks! |
