COD 5 Help

I apologize if this happens to be in the wrong forum, but I have a unique situation here that I can't figure out and was wondering if anyone had any answers.

I have a legit cd key for Cod 5 but no DVD. I installed the game using my friend's dvd and I can't play solo/co-op without the disc. I attempted to use the noDVD crack and that let me open it but couldn't join a co-op game with my friends. Then I converted the DVD9 to 2DVD5 using Senseman's approach. The game installed, but even though the CODWAW disc is in the drive it tells me to insert the correct DVD. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
