PS2 Problems

Wow it has been so long since I have been here, over 2 years.

Anyway I hope someone can help me here still.
I have a v10 with the messiah 2 pro , my daughter has been playing it alittle and I went to play a game the other day , it booted up fine but the game took its time to load and is very sluggish and it happens and all the games I try, I think it may be a laser issue , I tried cleaning the laser but still the same , so what would you suggest I do ?

if tweaking the laser please tell me how step by step
