try this instead, download these two files :-

####://members.xoom.com/stealth_no1/flash.exe ####://members.xoom.com/stealth_no1/tez206a.hex

Then follow these instructions very carefully :

Run flash.exe. A window opens with a list of the different
drives on your computer, select the 4224E and push the
"update" button. The firmware should then be upgraded to JVC,
which will take a few minutes. After it is finished, it will ask if you
want to restart your computer. Answer "no." Then exit out of the program and restart your computer manually.

IMPORTANT do not attempt to burn any existing .BIN images (read from the Creative Labs Writer), create new .BIN's after upgrading the firmware.
