Sims 2 Frustrations

Here's my situation...I have Sims 2 and Sims 2 Nightlife games in folders on my computer. I have owned both games and others. Unfortunately, thanks to a move recently, I cant find my original disks for Sims 2.

I realized this AFTER I bought my newest expansion, Bon Voyage. When I try to install the new one, it tells me it cannot find the original Sims 2 on my computer.

If all the files are there...why is it not finding it? Keep in mind, I'm not asking for codes (I have all those written down and registered on EA). I just need to know if there's a way to install and play this new expansion without my original Sims 2 disks.

I tried to look for autorun or install in my Sims 2 folder, but couldn't find anything but UNinstall. If I'm missing files, is there any way to get the ones I need? Like I said, I have the full folders for both games...but cant find install.exe
