Problem with Devil May Cry 3

Hey,

can any1 tell me why's that, when I start playing DMC3 the image freezes

only ingame, never in the menu's.

I'm using Vista(dunno if it helps) and also, dunno if it's a problem with my software, drivers, the game..... whathever.....
