ok, then, I install the game and then update to the last version (1.05), then apply the no-dvd crack found on this site, and what happens? when I launch the game, the splash screen appears for some seconds, then it disappears but no game begin! I am experiencing the same problem. I have been able to run the game a few times somehow but again, like now, I am not able to run the game. Game opens with splash screen then just closes/disappears from task manager.

When I first installed the game the DVD and applied the no-dvd, it worked. I went to play it a few days later, it would not. I figured I'd just update my 6 month outdated nVidia drivers, the game worked again (this was yesterday). I went to play it today and it just continues to open splash screen and then close. I've tried repatching, reapplying no-dvd, restarting, closing all unnecessary programs (which I normally do not have any running anyways), disabling daemon and anything else and still no luck. Nothing is wrong with my settings nor would there be anything wrong with my computer specs (since the game has already been running a few times without any problems).
