PAL/NTSC Selector, Grp:Uca.....?

Hey there all, Happy New Year!

Well, I'm not really that new to burning, but I had a few honest questions about the patching pages here. I use NSTC versions, but there is lingo on the page that I was wondering about and didn't see any files on the pages to explain some of these things and what they do. PAL/NTSC Selector, what is the function of that? Same as under the GRP section, what are the meanings of some of the names such as UCA, BAD, PDX ...etc. Hey, please excuse me, just curious.
