Backed Up MP3's & now they run together Please help

I am completely stumped as to how this can happen.
I was creating a DVD Data disc with some old zip files and family pictures etc, amongst everything there was a collection of MP3's as well. I burned the disc along with a few others then formated my HD once everything was backed up. Then I re-installed WinXP Pro SP2 and all of my backups when I got to this disc all the pictures were fine and most 95% of my zips and files were ok (except for 1 Corrupt and one Virus)
and all my MP3's appear to be fine, but when I load them into something like Winamp or WMP11 or my MP3 player the first 35-55sec of each track is the last part of the previous song.(hmm its kind of hard to explain)here is an example
the first 45sec of SnoopDog Gin&Juice witch is track 3 is the previous song(track2) then gin&juice starts but is cut off at the end of the song.

I can send someone the MP3's that are messed up if it might help?

Anyways any suggestions or ideas here would be apperciated.
