Problem with LAN-Connection
Perhaps someone here can help me. I'm desperate with this.
 I have two computers: - a normal PC with internet connection and lan-adapter (192.168.0.1) running WinXP Pro SP2 - a mediacenter-pc with lan-adapter (automatic ip) running WinVista Ultimate The pcs are connected with a CrossLink-LAN cable. The internet connection sharing is working fine (i can surf the www with the mediacenter-pc). When i give the mc-pc a fixed ip, the internet isn't working. I have three shared folders on the mc-pc, all with full-access-rights. (i use the same account-name on both pcs) I can ping both pc from the other. I can surf the web, but I CAN'T SEE THE MC-PC AND THE THREE SHARED FOLDERS IN NETWORK ON MY NORMAL PC.  Any solution?
