HELP with transferring files to PSP please...

I have already done all the steps on how to convert the dvd onto an mp4 format but the problem i am having is when transferring the mp4 file to the psp. The Cable is connected properly and the USB is activated in settings but it still gives me an error message.

I am using AVS media and the error message is a simple

"an error was encountered while transeferring the data"

I have also tried to copy the file manually onto the removable drive and the appropiate folder but the error i get is

"Cannot copy "DVD": cannot find the specified path. make sure you specify the correct file and pathname".

Can someone please explain why this is happening? Am I missing something?

Thanks
