Take a look in readme.txt and you will see that ATI Radeon 9550, 9600, 9700 and 9800 are unsupported as well as entire X800 series. You must have video card featuring Pixel Shader 3.0, that means GeForce 6, GeForce 7, GeForce 8, Radeon X1800 and X1900 series with their derivates.

I know, this sucks big time, but that's the price of PC gaming.
