sylvio, so you are using Desperados with the SecuROM protection (7.20 is right too).
of course you can´t update it with the v1.01 International patch.
you need to find the patch for your version (SecuROM) instead of the Tages version.

edit: found a patch for ya, grab this http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/dlp.cgi?lang=...1fr.zip&ref=ps
should be the patch 1.01 with SecuROM.
