Re Out Break 2 Backup Problem

the underside color of the disc is gold, not silver nor light, purple (I think so!).
I have take it back to where I purchase then I only receive their reply that the disc is only has warranty for playing only PS2, not for reading on PC

.
Damn it! What can I do?
