Sounds like the v1.02 EXE was updated for the Editor and Replay options whereas the Original EXE is not, hence them not working when you put the original files back!

The v1.02 bug fixes being present may suggest common data files being updated so they work with Original EXE as well?

It's still not a CRACK though, and by the looks of it it's a BAD CRACK at that
