Please Help..what does error mean

I am trting every burning program out, but I need to use cdrwin because all the patches are designed to patch cdrwin bin files. BUT I get this weird error all the time.....
ERROR:UNEXPECTED FAILURE READING FILE (END OF FILE?)All settings appear to be correct, I have an HP8200i, No other cdreader just the burner, all games give me the same error, I've been using other programs to burn games that require no psx patch but I'm screwed for the ones that need to be patched please help!!!!!!!
