Recently there was a patch that was sent out which I was able to install with no issues but I had to get my original disk back from my closet so that I can continue on playing the game. I have found a resolution on this thanks to Sheppard from the Original Titan Quest Forum whom posted the following which I would like to share with those of you here whom are having the same problem I just mentioned after installing the patch.

Install the game.
Patch the game (stand alone).
Download Curerom 2.03.1
Download BOTH mini images from GameCopyWorld.
Download DaemonTools 4.03HE

Install Curerom and make a new profile. When you click next, make sure the option to "not show daemon tools" is set from the drop down box.

Set up your CureROM profile to point at the Titan quest.exe file. and check the anti blacklist feature.

At this point I was able to create the shortcut to the desktop, Mount one of the two miniimages (you must try both, only one worked for me)(the one that worked for me was the (mcz-tqmi.mds) file

Turn all emulation options OFF in daemon tools, close daemon tools, then click the shortcut you created on your desktop.

This took me to the main menu and I could play.

Now I play without my CD and back to the closet it goes hehe.. good luck guys.
I follow your instructions, i try both mini-image, but the game still crashing :-(.
