Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition Problems

I am having some difficulties getting the game to work. Even though I downloaded the crack and all that might be needed to get the game to work, when I load it up it says:

The MDC3SE. exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience.

We need to create an error report and stuff like that. No matter how many times I tried it. I mean I meet the right requirements and all. And I even played Onimusha 3: Demon Seige, and that one worked just fine with no problems and they are both carrying the same components, so I dont know why it wont work for some reason. Can anyone out there please help me as to why?
