what type of wire?

hey all just bought a ps2 mod chip and im going to instal it my self as im quite handy with a solder. problem is the chip didnt come with any solder or wire. jus twhat to know that kind of wire should i get? and is their a solder material like 60%some thing and 40% some thing eles ect that works best?
